VOICE STUDIO OF AMANDA MAY
A BIT ABOUT ME
Growing up, taking voice lessons gave me a deeper love of music and increased my self-confidence in every aspect of my life. I want to pass this gift on to those I teach. I love to help students find their own unique voice. I believe that the entire body is involved in singing and often make use of movement during lessons. I have also enjoyed studying speech level singing and have learned a lot about how the voice works and how to maintain a balanced singing voice. While I believe proper technique and hard work are essential in learning to sing, my main goal is to make sure my students maintain a love of music and singing. I have five little kids so, we have a lot of singing at our house and, honestly, the more the merrier!
